The distinctions awarded by International Volcanic Wine Awards according to the different scores are:

The Grand Gold Medal: 95 points or more

The Gold medal: from 93 to 95 points

The Silver Medal: from 90 to 93 points

The Bonze Medal: From 85 to 90 points

The total number of distinctions awarded must not exceed 30% of the number of samples registered. In addition to these prizes, and without this implying an increase in the 30% limit authorized by VINOFED and the OIV, the organization may award special prizes based on their origin (country), variety, category, production, presentation, etc..

If in any of the categories none of the samples presented reached the minimum score of 85 points, the awards in said category would be void.

The jury's decision will be final and will be issued once it has been deliberated.
